With [tag]SEMA[/tag] fully underway this week, car aficionado’s look to [tag]Las Vegas[/tag] for what’s cool now in the auto customization industry. What’s becoming the norm is that some auto makers use the Vegas event to introduce new production models. And Honda is no exception.

[tag]American Honda Motor Co.[/tag] and tuner [tag]MUGEN[/tag] introduced a prototype [tag]Civic MUGEN Si Sedan[/tag] that will be introduced in a limited quantity to the buying public in the spring of 2007. It’s expected to fetch less than $30,000.

The introduction of the MUGEN Si Sedan coincides with Honda’s new 2007 [tag]Civic Si[/tag] Sedan, which went on sale November 1st. The MUGEN Si Sedan should be easily recognized though. It will sport a new track tuned suspension, lowering the car 0.6 inches. Forged aluminum wheels and a full-vehicle aero-package, which includes a sports grill, side spoilers, a rear bumper diffuser and rear wing, round out the visuals. An additional power bump will come from a sports exhaust system that reduces back pressure, enhancing the power curve.
