2006 BMW Z4 Coupe

As many of you know, the production-ready [tag]BMW Z4 Coupe[/tag] made its debut at this year’s Detroit Auto Show after the concept first appeared in Frankfurt last year.
Automobile Magazine has a great photo library of the [tag]Coupe[/tag] by Barry Hayden. Just days after the Frankfurt show, the magazines staff had access to the concept in Munich, with an abandoned factory complex as their backdrop. The shots were later used in their December issue.
But here’s an interesting angle for an auto maker to take. My good friend over at Mister Shape sent me this link, showcasing a project between BMW and artist [tag]Joshua Davis[/tag]. [tag]BMW[/tag] commissioned Davis to create unique art based on his impressions of the new Z4 Coupe.
Check the site out to see his unique style. Davis’ art could certainly spark debate between you and your friends. Some of you loving it, the rest hating it. Not unlike the debate regarding BMW’s new styling, with this Coupe just rekindling it. Some of us like the direction [tag]Chris Bangle[/tag] is taking with BMW design, some of us hate it.
The car will be available in June of this year.
