2007 Audi S8
Fourtitude provides some insight into the North American debut of the 2007 Audi S8 at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
In keeping with the luxury and style of the A8, the S8 will hit showrooms this fall featuring the FSI technology Audi perfected in their very successful endurance racing program. Fuel Straight Injection, which was developed and proven in their R8 race car, is now part of the S8′s new engine, a 5.2-liter all-aluminum V10 producing 450bhp and a zero to 62 sprint in 5.1 seconds.
I think Audi continues to define this segment with the A8/S8 models. Not only is it the best looking sedan but it designates performance and, certainly now, uniqueness. But is the S8 a luxury car or sports sedan? That may only be decided by the seat of your pants. Take advantage if you have the opportunity.
